Engagements - $450
Engagement photography is a fun, low-stress photo session, like a wedding-day dry run. We get to play around with a variety of flattering poses while capturing save-the-date and wedding-website content in the process. It's a great time for us to establish a relationship together as clients and photographers, and helps you to become more comfortable behind the lens on your big day.
90 minute session

Up to 1 location change (within 10 miles or original session).

FAQ’s
Q: Are you insured?
Yes, I am fully insured through Professional Photographers of America and Location Affinity, LLC. If your venue needs proof of insurance, just let me know and I would be happy to provide that for you.
Q: When do we receive our wedding or family portrait photos?
For weddings it’s typically around 4 to 6 weeks, (6 to 8 weeks during peak months) with a handful of preview or “sneak peek” photos shared within 72 hours. For family portraits or engagement sessions, it’s within 2 to 3 weeks. All of your images are shared in a private, online gallery and you will be downloading the full resolution images!
Q: How many photos will we receive?
For weddings there is no cap on delivered images! This means there isn’t an exact set amount of images you will receive. However many images are great from your wedding will be included in your gallery. Typically a 6 hour wedding will receive around 300 to 450 images. A family portrait session will receive 25 edited, digital images and an engagement session will receive 30 edited, digital images.
Q: What service area do you cover?
I am a San Jose, Silicon Valley photographer first and foremost. However I travel all over the Bay Area including, but not limited to San Francisco, Oakland, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, Soquel, Capitola, Monterey, and Carmel.
Q: Are there any additional costs such as travel or taxes?
I do not charge extra travel fees for sessions within the Bay Area (as far North as San Francisco to as far South as Monterey). Travel fees (of 54.5 cents/mile) will be added to any areas outside of those (exceeding a 1 hour driving time from San Jose). There are no additional fees for taxes (they are build into my package prices). Note that any parking fees will be an added cost. Permits are required for some locations in order to do a photography session, and permit fees would be an additional cost if they are needed. I am happy to help provide a list of places that I already have permits for, or locations that I know do not require permits, and I am happy to help obtain the permit for you (by request).
